How it works

Six steps from picking a prize to seeing the verification record. Nothing here depends on trusting us.

  1. Pick a competition. Every listing shows the prize, the cash alternative, the ticket price, the fixed number of tickets and how many have sold.
  2. Enter online or by post. Buy tickets by card, or send a free postal entry. Both routes go into the same pool with the same odds. Ticket numbers are allocated at random and shown in your account.
  3. Check the entry list. Every competition has a downloadable list of ticket numbers and entrant first names, so you can see your number and all the others.
  4. The draw happens on the date. No extensions, whatever has sold. We close entries, publish the final entry list with a hash, then run an independently verified random draw live on Facebook and YouTube.
  5. Winners are published. Name, town, ticket number and the verification link go on the winners page, with a photo of the handover once the prize is delivered. Winners can take the cash alternative instead.
  6. Instant wins on some competitions pay out immediately as wallet credit or small prizes. The winning numbers are fixed and published before sales open.

Who can enter

Residents of England, Scotland and Wales aged 18 or over. We ask for your date of birth and address when you create an account.

Why we can promise the draw

We only open a competition when we hold enough cash in reserve to buy the prize or pay the cash alternative outright. That is why our ticket caps are small and why a draw never gets extended.
